The Porte-Neuve street is a bourgeois neighborhood of the 19th century with typical facades with style.
The Andigne Park and its secret passages: it is toward 1850 that the park was built. But since two streets were on its grounds, a compromise was found by the creation of two underground passages. The first, rather narrow, almost entirely carved in the rock, goes toward the West and the second axis, North/South, is more important. It is called “la Pousterle” and often served as shelter for the poorest people at the beginning of the 20th century

During your stay in Barbentane, for the more sports-oriented, residing in this Gite with heated pool, a 6 hole technical golf is located at approximately 1 km from the house, 2 municipal tennis courts in the Montagnette and many departure points of VTT rides, hikes in the Montagnette or in the Alpilles.

Barbentane is located on the periphery of the famous city of Avignon, ranked in the Humanity World Heritage register by UNESCO, for its famous Palace of the Popes and its famous Saint-Bénezet bridge !
You are at less than fifteen minutes by car of the center of town and 5 minutes from the TGV station.

The garden space is split in two parts.
 
A PART SHARED with the owners
An 1000 m2 enclosed garden with trees around the pool, accessible by an electric gate.
A beautiful pool with a relaxation deck (10 x 4, depth 0,25 to 1.45m) secured by an alarm system and a non certified fence, to share with the owners.
Many games for entertainment A pétanque court, a swing.
 
A PRIVATE AREA in front of the Gite, measuring approximately 200m2, in the back of the main building. It includes:
A 25m2 terrace with a dining table for 4 people.
Chaise lounges
A mobile gas BBQ

A non air-conditioned bedroom with double bed 140 and storage

Security deposit: €300. End of stay cleaning fee: €60.
House linen included (sheets, bath towels, table cloths and kitchen towels). You must bring your own pool towels.
Pets accepted upon request: €35/animal

Baby equipment available upon request: high chair and crib.
Visitor's tax according to applicable rate, to be paid in addition to the rent.

The owners have put selective sorting of recyclables in place.

Heating is with a wood stove
The plants are exclusively local plants and only organic fertilizers are used.
The owners use the irrigation water of the canal and water in the morning and evening, when the outside temperature is lower.

This Gite with pool in Barbentane is on one floor but wheelchairs cannot circulate inside through the access doors.
