Initiation to wine tasting techniques

You will discover the art of wine sampling! Your taste buds will remember it!

The Mont Ventoux area was classified « biosphere reserve” by UNESCO in 1990.

It serves as a showcase for a soil cultivated while respecting nature and the traditions of the region.

The Ventoux offers wines which invite sharing and conviviality, around a flavorful and aromatic farandole.

You will begin the day with a panoramic tour at the foot of the Mont Ventoux, through vines bearing the “appelation Ventoux”.

Then, when you arrive at the vineyard

You will visit the winery and the fermentation chamber.

Your five senses will then be in play during the various sampling steps. 

The goal is to acquire knowledge in the techniques of wine tasting.

Our guide will instruct you in the techniques that are “key” to enjoying wines in order to recognize the aromas and interpret the tastes on your tongue.

You will sample 5 wines: 1 white, 1 rosé and 3 reds + olive oil produced on-site.

To conclude your tour, you will head in the direction of Beaumes de Venise for some free time.

You will stroll through the authentic small streets of the village.

Lunch break possible (not included)

A roadbook will be given to you to indicate where and when to meet.

Duration: 4 h 45mn - from 9:00 a.m. to 1: 45p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays.

Rate for adults: 70€/person.

Children’s rate: 35€/children under 12 years old & free for children under 4 years old.

Organization of lunch at the restaurant or with a picnic basket.
