THE MILL, A TIMELESS BUILDING...
This 17th-century oil mill is a truly unique site. Since its creation, it has never ceased producing olive oil! The centuries-old production methods have remained unchanged, as has its impressively rich architecture.
Nestled in the heart of the Provençal village of Maussane-les-Alpilles and built in 1610, this historic Provençal building with vaulted ceilings retains a unique charm and authenticity.
Originally owned by the Seigneur de Manville, the mill was initially private. In 1924, thanks to the initiative and financial contribution of a few small producers who became cooperative members, it was transformed into a cooperative that has continued to grow ever since.
