You are 10 minutes walking from the centre and local shops, not far from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence, in the heart of the Provençal Alpilles massif.
Aureille is preserved from time and tourist masses.
It is a charming little Provençal village.
Holidaymakers are therefore always welcome!
The people of Aureil are known for their good mood, warm welcome, helpfulness and solidarity.
The village benefits from all the local shops necessary to enjoy a good gourmet and friendly stay: restaurants, bakery, grocery store, butcher shop, bar, tobacco-press shop...
The ruins of the medieval castle built in the 11th century give the village a singular charm.
The surrounding landscapes are typical of the region: the hills of the Alpilles as far as the eye can see, limestone rocks overlooking the Opies, which peak at 496 metres above sea level, century-old olive groves, extending to the village of Mouriès, the European capital of olive and its oil.
