Charming holiday location with swimming pool for 8 people located in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, in the Vaucluse department, in Provence. You will stay in the countryside, about 2 km from the town centre.
You will be charmed by the town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, which is located at the foot of the Vaucluse plateau, in the Comtat Venaissin plain. The town centre is surrounded by several canals fed by the Sorgue, nicknamed "little Venice", not to be confused with the Sorgues in Aveyron. These canals were used to operate the paddle wheels to provide motive power to local factories.
L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is one of the must-visit places in Provence. You can discover the "water sharing" point, 1 km upstream from the town. The river splits in two and forms a shaded water area to recharge. During your holiday in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, you will also find around 300 antique dealers for the pleasure of vintage object and art gallery enthusiasts. You can try fly fishing on the Sorgue or go canoeing and kayaking.
