Let yourself be transported by the richness of the surrounding open spaces and the diversity of the landscapes. From the hills of the Alpilles to the Camargue plain, few kilometers to cover, but so many differences in the natural scenery. A real contrast of nature, even in the topography that characterizes the Alpilles, and of which the Camargue land is devoid. Camargue which will delight the eyes of young and old, thanks to its preserved spaces, where horses, bulls and flamingos cohabit, before the latter fly off to Africa each year.
On your way, typical Provençal towns and villages await you. The sea is only about thirty kilometers south of Arles, the neighboring town. This beautiful ancient city, founded almost 2,500 years ago, owes its glorious past the nickname of “little Rome”. Many monuments such as the ancient theater or the arenas bear witness to a rich historical past and give the city a timeless atmosphere. So many remarkable buildings now listed on the World Heritage List.
You will also find many activities in the surrounding area, such as tennis, golf courses and even horse-riding centers.
For an arrival by TGV, select Arles (15km) or Avignon (40km). For arrival by air, the nearest airports are those of Nîmes (30km) and Marignane (60km).
