Situation

This Gite is located in a residential area, in the Vidauque development, on the heights of Cavaillon.
The rental is part of a main building with its own private entry, with nobody across.
The house is located at the end of a private road.
You will be amazed by the view offered to you.
It is a calm and central place to visit Provence.
The first supermarket is located approximately 2 km away and the town center of Cavaillon is at 4kms

Cavaillon is at the heart of the most beautiful sites of Provence, between Avignon, the Luberon, the Alpilles and Mont Ventoux, the history and the heritage of this town, still not well known, are worth the detour.
A discovery path of the ancient center and of the hill is offered to visit one Europe’s most beautiful synagogues (18th century) and the Jewish-Comtadin museum, the Cathedral and its 12th century cloister, the Chapel of the Grand-Couvent, the Hotel-Dieu museum, the Roman arc, the Hermitage and the Saint-Jacques Chapel.
In Cavaillon, nature and center of life are together, you can walk and relax a few steps from the center of town, in the aromatic garrigue of the Saint-Jacques Hill then enjoy the friendliness of the pedestrian-only streets and the shady squares.
The Provencal market is held on Monday.

For the sports oriented, you can especially enjoy the Via Ferrata of Cavaillon, the Golf of Samane, canoe rides on the Sorgue and many others (fishing, parachuting, paragliding, hot air balloon rides, hikes.

There are many picturesque villages nearby: Gordes (14kms), Bonnieux (25kms), Ménerbes (20kms).

Many activities are offered in the region, depending on the season : Jazz festivals, Avignon festival,..

The closest big cities are Avignon (35 kms) l’Isle sur la Sorgue (10kms) and Apt (30 kms).

Outside

The Gite touches the owners’ house on one side. It has a private terrace with a table and 4 chairs which open onto a very pretty view of the Luberon.
Below the property there are :
A relaxation space with 4 chaises lounges, a 20 m2 shaded terrace and garden furniture available during the day.
A heated pool , to be shared with the owners (4m x 8m, depth 1.50m with access steps, alarm-type security system, open from April 1 to the end of October.

Inside

The Gite has 2 rooms (not separated) It measures 25 m2. It is tastefully decorated in traditional style. It includes:

Main living-room (20 m²)
A kitchen corner with refrigerator, microwave, senseo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, vitroceramic cooktop, washing machin.
A dining space with dining table, accommodating 4 people.
Living space with sofa bed for 2, TV with TNT channels.

1 bedroom (8m²) with a double bed 140. There is no door in the room
A pretty curtain separates the bedroom from the living room

Bathroom (1 sink, shower and toilet.)

Maximum number accommodated for sleeping: 4 people
The price is for 2 persons, an extra fee of 45€/person/week is requested for the 3rd and the 4th person.
House linen available: 15€/ person (sheets, bath towels, table cloths and kitchen towels).

Security deposit: €300.
Final cleaning : 45 €
Activation of the pool heater upon request: €90/week
Pets accepted for an additional charge ON REQUEST. €35/animal
Heating is not included in very low season” a 35€ flat fee is required.
Visitor's tax according to applicable rate, to be paid in addition to the rent.

Eco gesture

The lodging is on the ground floor on the street side. A person with reduced mobility can access with help.
The shower is enclosed in a cabin and not accessible with a wheelchair.
The pool space is not accessible in a wheelchair. There is an incline and steps.

Accessibility

The owner has set up selective sorting and has a motion detector.
She takes care to always turn off completely the electrical equipment.
She prefers local plants and natural products in their facilities.
